Brunn Focused on Olympic Swimming Trials

OXFORD, Ohio -- MURedHawks.com continues its salute to Miami University's Olympic Trials swimmers, today featuring former RedHawk breaststroker Megan Brunn (Mansfield).

A four-time Miami letter winner from 2008-11, Brunn earned first-team All-MAC and first-team Academic All-MAC honors as a swimmer. She earned her Miami University degree in marketing in May of 2011. Brunn is currently training in Dallas, Texas.
Four other Miami University women's swimmers--Maegan O'Connor (Fishers, IN), Bekka Westrick (Fairfield), Maddie Kete (Bay Village) and Leah Thornton (Helena, AL)--also have qualified to compete at this summer's Olympic Trials in Omaha, Neb. from June 25 through July 2. The Olympic Swimming Trials will receive sixteen-and-a-half hours of live and tape delayed coverage on the NBC SPORTS NETWORK from June 25-July 2.
Divers Lacey Houser (Danville, IN) and RedHawk diving alum Chris Heaton (Centerville) are competing at the Olympic Diving Trials this week in Federal Way, Washington. The Olympic Diving Trials will receive nine hours of live and tape delayed coverage on the NBC SPORTS NETWORK from June 19-22.
