OXFORD, Ohio - Four RedHawks picked up individual victories Saturday to lead the Miami University women's track and field team to a second-place finish on day two at the All-Ohio Championships, held at the RedHawks' own George Rider Track, while a school-record relay was also clocked. The meet was the second of three home meets on the year for Miami.

After winning two events Friday, she was first in the javelin with a throw of 32.54m/106-9 Saturday. Sophomore Erica Mudd (Cincinnati, Ohio) claimed third in her first heptathlon with 4,694 points, which ranks her eighth in school history. Clay, Graves, freshman Charlotte Myers (Bexley, Ohio) and sophomore Leah Coleman (Westerville, Ohio) combined to earn runner-up in the 4x400m relay, smashing the school record by nearly two seconds with a time of 3:40.90 as the record was 3:42.72, on which Graves and Clay also ran. Clay closed with a late charge on the anchor leg but couldn't quite catch Cincinnati, who won in 3:40.74.
