MEN'S BASKETBALL
Last Week: In its only game of the week, Miami (4-7) topped William & Mary, 73-69, Thursday night at Millett Hall as sophomore Josh Sewell hit a three-pointer with 18 seconds remaining to put the RedHawks ahead by two and Miami then closed out the win, giving head coach Charlie Coles his 350th career win. Sewell finished with 18 points while classmate Quinten Rollins added a career-best 18 points as well. (RECAP) This Week: The RedHawks play a pair of games as they round out non-conference action at Vanderbilt tonight (Monday) at 8 p.m. ET before opening Mid-American Conference action Saturday at 7 p.m. at Millett Hall against Akron in the second half of a men's/women's basketball doubleheader.

WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
Last Week: Women's basketball (9-3) only played one game last week as well as senior forward Lillian Pitts recorded her first career double-double with a career-high 15 points and 11 rebounds, while junior guard Courtney Osborn tied a school record with a career-high 13 assists to lead Miami to a 74-60 win over Chicago State Wednesday evening at Millett Hall. The win was Miami's fifth straight while the `Hawks improved to 8-0 at home this year. (RECAP) This Week: The RedHawks will be busy as they play three games in six days, starting tonight (Monday) at Robert Morris at 7 p.m. to conclude non-conference play. Miami then opens MAC play Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Akron before hosting Buffalo at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Millett Hall in the first half of a basketball doubleheader.
ICE HOCKEY
This Week: After a 26-day layoff, the RedHawks (9-9-2, 5-7-2-1 CCHA) return to the ice this weekend at No. 15 Michigan State as Miami takes on the Spartans Friday and Saturday with both games slated for 7:05 p.m.
Prior to heading to East Lansing this weekend, Miami players will serve dinner to the community at the annual Rico's Ristorante sponsored by the Blue Line Club, which takes place Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Bell Tower Place on Miami's campus. The event is open to the public and dinner is only $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. (RELEASE)
SYNCHRONIZED SKATING
This Week: Miami's junior synchronized skating team heads to Lowell, Mass. Friday and Saturday for the Junior World Qualifier.
WOMEN'S SWIMMING
This Week: The RedHawks will take part in a double-dual meet Wednesday morning, swimming against James Madison and Keene State at 8:30 a.m. in Boca Raton, Fla. while the team is training in Florida over the holiday break.
WOMEN'S SOCCER
Three RedHawks earned All-Ohio honors from the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association last week as junior forward Jess Kodiak and sophomore midfielders Katy Dolesh and Kayla Zakrzewski were all recognized for their strong 2011 season. (RELEASE)
HawkTawk is off for the holiday break and will return to the air Thursday, Jan. 12 from Bruno's in Liberty Township.
