Swimmers Open with Intrasquad Meet

OXFORD, Ohio -- The 2011-12 Miami University men's and women's swimming teams dive into action Saturday (Oct. 1) at 10 a.m. with the annual Red & White Intrasquad Meet. There is no admission charge for the competition at the Nixon Aquatic Center.
Veteran coaches Pete Lindsay (men) and Dave Jennings (women) have lots of talented newcomers and are anxious to see them and the veteran swimmers and divers in competition.
The men's first official meet is next week when they travel to Carbondale, Illinois for a double dual against SIU and Evansville.
The women don't begin their regular-season schedule until Friday, Oct. 21, when they host Purdue.
