Baseball Team Makes Hospital Visit

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami Baseball enjoyed one of its most rewarding activities of the year on Thursday night and it didn't even take place at the ball park.
Several members of the team and coaching staff spent the evening at Children's Hospital in Cincinnati sharing holiday cheer with many of the young patients.
"Each year that we do the hospita trip, I make sure I volunteer. I like being able to give back to people in the community," senior Pat Glass said.
"Meeting the kids is always the best part, especially around the holiday time. I can only how difficult it is to be in the hospital. Seeing the smiles on their faces, spending time with them and learning more about them means a lot to me.
"I hope we have another opportunity to do this later in the year."
