The men's 100 fly saw Cavanaugh post a winning time of 51.40, Lords swimmers finished second, third and fourth, keeping Kenyon in front by a narrow margin, 124-120.
Miami's Hoppler won the men's one-meter competition, barely edging out teammate Mike Grainger (Cincinnati), 317.85 to 314.39. That put the RedHawks into the lead.
A one-two-three finish by Whipp (1:56.93), Melling (1:56.98) and Kilkenny (1:57.44) in the 200 IM increased Miami's lead to a 23-point margin and sealed the RedHawks' team victory.
In the afternoon's final event, the Red & White foursome of Gunnels, Nemeth, Baumgartner and Cavanaugh added 11 points to Miami's final team total with an impressive victory in the 200 freestyle relay (1:23.55).

The RedHawks' Bruington, Thornton and Clagg went one-two-three in the 200 freestyle, with respective times of 1:52.92, 1:55.40 and 1:56.05, boosting Miami to a 38-17 lead in team points.

Scott won the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:07.32, just 17/100ths of a second in front of her Kenyon opponent.
Mallon and Collett earned the two top times in the 200 butterfly. Mallon sprinted to a time of 2:07.19 to win first place, while Collett was the runner-up in a clocking of 2:09.51.
The top four finishes in the 50-yard freestyle went to Miami swimmers. Westrick led the way for the RedHawks with a winning time of 23.60. She was followed by Kete, Lauren Sichterman (Wausau, WI) and Annie Marquiss (Solon).
Craft, junior Lisa Werwinski (Canton) and sophomore Lucy McGrath (Winchester, KY) went one-two-three in the three-meter diving event. Craft's winning score was 310.27.
Kete and Bruington took the top two spots in the women's 100 freestyle with respective times of 52.02 and 52.42.
Miami placed first-through-fourth in the 200 backstroke, led by Thornton's winning time of 2:05.83, Bootsma, Fujan and O'Connor completed the top four.
The women's 200 breaststroke saw Miami's Clagg touch the wall first (2:23.06). Nicole Wagner (Columbus) finished fourth.
Collett won the 500 free in a time of 5:07.48, just ahead of teammate Warmolts (5:12.13).
In the 100 butterfly, because of the commanding lead that they held, Miami's competitors all swam exhibitions. Westrick (56.17), Rohr (58.29), Mandi Grandjean (Canton, 58.57) and Mallon (58.84) all had faster times than the Kenyon swimmers.
The three-meter diving event also turned out to be an exhibition effort for Miami's quartet of Craft, Werwinski, COREY BANGS (Monument, CO) and McGrath, who posted the four best scores.
Again, because of Miami's sizeable lead, the winning 200 individual medley time of Clagg (2:09.01) and runner-up Thornton (2:10.21) didn't count in the team standings.
The final event, the women's 200 freestyle relay, also was an exhibition swim for Miami's five entries. MU's best time (1:35.10) was recorded by the quartet of Westrick, Kete, O'Connor and Bruington.
