"Overall, it was a pretty good day," Head Coach Anca Dumitrescu said. "The girls competed well and stuck with the game plan in singles. It was good to see Anastasia as the catalyst in singles, getting us off to a quick start. I also thought it was good for us to be challenged again doubles so we can identify areas to improve."
Miami returns to action next weekend with its first two road matches. The RedHawks travel to Cincinnati on Friday, then head to Indianapolis to face Butler on Saturday.
