Miami Swimmers Competing at U.S. Senior Nationals

OXFORD, Ohio - Five Miami University women's swimmers will compete August 3-7 at the 2010 ConocoPhillips National Championships at the William Woollett Jr. Aquatics Center in Irvine, California.
Senior Kelsey Vehr (Cincinnati), senior Megan Brunn (Mansfield), senior Nicole Roddenbery (Peachtree, GA), sophomore Leah Thornton (Helena, AL) and Maegan O'Connor (Fishers, IN) will compete under the bright California sun.
The event will also serve as trials for numerous events, including the 2010 Mutual of Omaha Pan Pacific Championships to be held in Irvine later in August and the World University Games.
Vehr, the 106th-ranked swimmer in the world in the 200 breaststroke, will also compete in the 100. She'll be joined by Brunn in the same events.
Roddenbery will swim the 100 butterfly, while O'Connor and Thorton will both compete in the 100 fly and the 100 backstroke.
The finals will be televised nationally by NBC.
