Brunn Named Swimmer of The Week By Mid-American Conference

CLEVELAND, Ohio - Miami swimmer Megan Brunn has been named Mid-American Conference Swimmer of the week after her performance in the Red and White's 193.5-95.5 win over Eastern Michigan on Saturday. She led the RedHawks with a flawless meet, touching the wall first in every event she entered over the weekend.
The senior from Mansfield, Ohio swam the breaststroke leg of the winning 200-yard medley relay team to open the meet. She then finished first in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.71, finishing more than two seconds ahead of her closest competitor. Later in the meet, she won the 200-yard breaststroke by more than three seconds in 2:18.03, the fastest time by a RedHawks this season.
In her final event, Brunn swam the 400-yard IM as an exhibition swimmer and touched the wall first with a time of 4:27.76, the fastest time in the event by a MAC swimmer this season.
Brunn and the RedHawks are back in action Saturday, Nov. 13 at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
