OXFORD, Ohio -- Miami University's women's swimming and diving team begins Mid-American Conference competition Saturday with a meet in Buffalo against the Bulls. The Miami-Buffalo meet begins at 1 p.m.
Both teams are hoping to improve upon their MAC meet finishes of a year ago. Miami placed second to champion Toledo, while the Bulls tied for fifth place.
Coach Dave Jennings' RedHawks began their 2010-11 season last weekend, losing at Purdue (190-105), then defeating Xavier at home (193-67).
Next Saturday (Nov. 6), Miami returns to the Corwin Nixon Aquatic Center for a MAC meet against Eastern Michigan.
