Red Out Declared; Homecoming Festivities Set

OXFORD, Ohio -- As Miami Football gears up for this weekend's rivalry game versus Mid-American Conference foe Ohio at Yager Stadium, the athletic department has partnered with the Campus Activities Council to declare the Homecoming game a "Red Out". Miami fans, alumni and students are urged to wear red on Friday while at home, work or in class and then again on Saturday at the Battle of the Bricks football game.
The two top teams in the MAC East face off at Yager Stadium this Saturday at 1 p.m., with the winner in control of its postseason destiny. This marks the first time that the Bobcats have been the Homecoming opponent since 1993, while the last two contests in Oxford have occured during Thanksgiving break.
Miami is undefeated in the MAC this season after winning last week on the road versus Central Michigan 27 - 20.
The Homecoming theme this year, "Reinvent Red" with the weekend promising to be full of festivities for students and families alike. Come back to Oxford as the excitement builds.
