With 191 passing yards against Michigan, junior quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh surpassed the 3,000 career passing plateau, becoming the 11th in Miami history to reach that mark. Raudabaugh moved into ninth place on Miami's career passing list with 3,156 yards and is just 18 yards away from the Mike Kokal's No. 8 total of 3,173 passing yards.

Miami put its first points on the board with a 27-yard field goal by senior kicker Nathan Parseghian at 3:58 in the second quarter to move within seven points of the Wolverines. Parseghian hit a 23-yard field goal at 6:37 in the third quarter to further close the gap. He is 4-for-4 on field goals this season.

Senior punter Jake Richardson had a solid day for the RedHawks. He launched a career-long 74-yard punt early in the second quarter and also tallied punts of 56, 55, 53, 35, 58 and 46. Richardson's previous career-long punt was 69 yards versus Northwestern in 2006.

Richardson also set a Miami record for single-game punting average, averaging 53.9 yards per punt against the Wolverines. He held the previous record of 53.0 yards per punt against Purdue in 2006.

Senior linebacker Clayton Mullins led Miami with 10 tackles, including nine solo stops. Mullins amassed 4.0 tackles for a loss of 21 yards.

Sophomore receiver Jamal Rogers' 78 yards receiving were the best by a Miami player in five all-time meetings with the Wolverines, while Richardson's 53.9 punting average also was a player best against Michigan.

Miami recorded 16 first downs to Michigan's 15 and had 8-of-19 third-down conversions compared to the Wolverine's 2-of-11 third-down conversions.

Redshirt freshman wide receiver Mitchell Anderson saw the first action of his career, making an appearance to start the second quarter for the RedHawks. Redshirt freshman Clay Belton also saw the first game action of his career in the fourth quarter, replacing the injured Daniel Raudabaugh.

In addition to senior captains Joey Hudson, Dave DiFranco and Robbie Wilson, senior linebacker Clayton Mullins served as game captain Clayton Mullins.
