Miami Athletics to Host National Letter of Intent Event

OXFORD, Ohio - The Miami University Athletic Department will announce the 2008 recruiting classes for football, field hockey, women's soccer and women's track and field at the National Letter of Intent Event on Wednesday, Feb. 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Walter Gross Center.
The event will introduce the 2008 RedHawk signees and will feature head football coach Shane Montgomery, head field hockey coach Jill Reeve, head women's track and field coach Richard Ceronie, and head women's soccer coach Bobby Kramig. Steve Baker, the Voice of the RedHawks, will serve as the host of the hour-long presentation.
Admission is free as Miami fans and alumni are invited to attend and be the first to learn about the newest Miami student-athletes. Fans also will be able to purchase 2008 football season tickets.
The event will lead up to the men's basketball home game against Toledo at 7:30 p.m.
