RedHawk Men's Swimming and Diving Drop Meet at Purdue

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - The Miami University men's swimming and diving team dropped a dual meet at Purdue University on Saturday.
Chris Heaton was the lone individual event winner for the RedHawks, winning the three-meter dive with a score of 354.15. Heaton also finished third in the one-meter dive at 285.38 points. The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Zac Siegel, Lenny Wanta, Chase Mortimer and John Eich took their event with a time of 3:17.61.
Jason Bank was second in the 400-yard individual medley at 4:14.74, while Nick DuPuis was second in the 200-yard backstroke, finishing in 1:55.09. Ryan McHugh was second in the 100-yard freestyle at 46.53 and the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 21.23. Austin Kosier was finished second in the 100-yard breaststroke at 1:00.84.
Paul Ricard was second in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 15:55.37, less than two seconds behind the winner.
The men's swimming and diving squad will next travel to the University at Buffalo on Saturday, Jan. 26 for a 1 p.m. meet with the Bulls.
