RedHawks Come Up Short Against Ohio 38-29

ATHENS, Ohio (AP) -- Kalvin McRae rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown to help Ohio rally for a 38-29 win over Miami on Saturday.

After Taj Henley intercepted a pass by Miami quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh with 11:42 left in the third quarter, McRae scored on a 1-yard run to cap a five-play, 19-yard drive that gave the Bobcats (6-6, 4-4 Mid-American Conference) their first lead, 21-17.

Ohio's Brad Bower completed 4 of 10 passes for 77 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown to Andrew Mooney, who also caught a 2-yard scoring pass from Theo Scott.

Cory Jones rushed for 103 yards on 25 carries for Miami (6-6, 5-2). Raudabaugh, who had a 3-yard touchdown pass to Chris Givens in the second quarter, completed 21 of 44 passes for 223 yards and two interceptions.

Nathan Parseghian made five field goals for the RedHawks of 22, 19, 38, 41 and 20 yards
