Miami University Cheerleading Squad To Hold Open Tryouts

OXFORD, Ohio -- Tryouts for the Miami University cheerleading squad will be held on Wed., Sept. 6 from 6:30-9:30 p.m. in the sub-basement of Millett Hall, head coach Cindi McDaniel announced today. The tryouts are open to all male and female Miami University students and no prior experience is necessary.

Prior to the official tryout, the team will conduct a pair of clinics, giving those interested in trying out for the team a chance to practice or learn the basics of the sport. The clinics will be held on Tues., Aug. 29 and Wed., Aug 30, with both sessions taking place on the main floor of Millett Hall from 6:30-8 p.m.
