Teske Places 12th in 3-Meter Dive at Indiana Invitational

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Senior Eric Teske placed 12th in the 3-meter dive and the Miami University diving team placed two other divers in the top 17 as it wrapped up the first day of the Indiana Invitational.
Teske was the top Miamian on the 3-meter board, turning in a score of 243.40 in the finals. Teske qualified for the finals, which featured the top 12 divers, with a score of 189.00 in the prelims and a tally of 261.00 in the semifinals.
Sophomore Chris Heaton and junior Ryan Reinke joined Teske in the meet's top 17, as they placed 15th and 17th, respectively. Heaton posted a score of 272.82 in the prelims and 246.25 in the semifinals, while Reinke finished with a mark of 200.85 in the prelims and 207.50 in the semifinals.
Miami resumes diving competition today at Indiana University.
