BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Sophomore diver Christin Eberst (Clifton Park, N.Y./Shenendehowa) qualified for the NCAA Championships thanks in part to a strong showing at the Zone C Regional Championships in the three-meter diving event. The lone qualifier from Miami University's swimming & diving teams, Eberst joins Eastern Michigan's Anca Tilea as the lone MAC divers from the region to qualify.
Eberst finished eighth during the three-meter event on Saturday with 456.75 points. From the one-meter board on Friday, she finished with 505.80 points and took seventh place. One of 11 qualifiers from the region, Eberst goes to the NCAA Championships for her second time as a collegian.
This year's NCAA Championships are hosted by Texas A&M, March 20-22, in College Station, Texas.
