Women's Tennis Team Drops 4-3 Decision to Cincinnati

HAMILTON, Ohio - Miami University's women's tennis team (4-4) fell to Cincinnati (4-5), 4-3, on Sunday at Riverside Tennis Club in Hamilton, Ohio. The RedHawks lost all three doubles matches, but were able to capture three of the six singles flights.

Kadija Richards won in No. 1 singles action, topping Cris Reyes 6-3 and 6-2, while Megan Zimpfer and Grace Cascarilla took the fourth and sixth flights, respectively. Zimpfer won 6-2, 6-3 over Leen Corneillie, while Cascarilla posted a 4-6, 7-6 (2), 6-2 triumph over Julie Klauck.

Miami returns to action next weekend, facing Xavier at 4 p.m. on Feb. 23 and Wright State at 1 p.m. on Feb. 24. Both matches will be played at Riverside Tennis Club in Hamilton.
