LEXINGTON, Ky. -- Miami University's women's tennis team fell at Kentucky in the first of its indoor meets of the 2002 season, 7-0.

In the first flight, Kadija Richards battled Laurn Rooklidge to a 3-6, 6-7 decision, the closest match for any RedHawk. In doubles action, the pair of Erica Echko and Nancy Wiegand challenged Shannon Stafford and Ola Luczak to a 4-8 decision in the third flight, the closest margin in doubles.

The RedHawks return to the courts on Saturday, Jan. 26 facing Indiana at 9 a.m. and Indiana State at 2 p.m. Both take place in Bloomington, Ind.
