RedHawks Split Meet at Buffalo

Sophomore Kevin Mulgrew (Malden, Mass./Malden Catholic) continued his dominance in the distant events, taking the 400 individual medley (4:05.66), 500 freestyle (4:37.63) and the 1,000 freestyle (9:28.03), which is the MAC's best time in the event this year.
Junior Will Sensenbrenner (Champaign, Ill./Central) swam to a first-place finish in the 100 freestyle (46.53), while fellow-junior Donald Smith (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) captured the 200 breaststroke in a season-best time of 2:03.55. Freshman Kelly Ball (Granger, Ind./Penn) added a first place for the RedHawks in the 200 butterfly (1:54.25).
Senior Andrew Campbell dominated the diving events, winning the one-meter (264.40) and three-meter (281.25) dives.
The RedHawks (7-5, 5-2) have a month off to prepare for the MAC Championships, which will be held March 2-4 at Bowling Green University.
