Women's Swimming and Diving Falls at Purdue

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Miami University's women's swimming and diving teams dropped a pair of meets at Purdue University Saturday, falling to the Boilermakers 203-90 and to Oakland University 163-130. Katherine Sheridan (Saint Louis, Mo./ Villa Duchesne) placed first in both the 1,650 freestyle (17:12.74) and 500 freestyle (5:05.34).
Emily Nayes (Eden Prairie, Minn./Eden Prairie) swam to a first-place finish a in the 400 IM (4:29.60). Amanda Furlano (New Albany, Ohio/Columbus Academy) placed second in the 100 breaststroke (1:06.28) and 200 breaststroke (2:21.11).
The RedHawks travel next weekend to Northen Illinois in a dual meet with Ball State on Fri. and Sat.
