“I am very excited for the opportunity to continue working with and providing support to Miami University's student athletes,” said Tylinski. “I hope to act as a valuable resource to the athletic community and to help Miami's student athletes achieve success in their pursuit of excellence, both in and out of sport.”
Prior to joining Miami Athletics, Tylinski worked for Miami University in the Student Counseling Service Department as a Psychology Intern in 2019.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Tylinski join the Wellness Department and Sports Psychology Team,” said Jennifer Beardslee, Assistant Athletic Director of Wellness Services. “Her past experiences as a Division I student-athlete and working within the counseling departments at Illinois State University and Aurora University are a huge asset to providing optimum healthcare to our student-athletes. Also, I am very appreciative of the continued commitment of President Greg Crawford, David Sayler and Dr. Ward to continue the partnership so we may provide sport psychology services to the student-athletes.”
Tylinski earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies – Security and Intelligence in 2013 from Ohio State. "The mental health and wellness of our student-athletes is a very high priority," said John Ward, Director of the Miami University Student Counseling Service (SCS). "I am thrilled that the SCS is able to partner directly ICA's Wellness Department and Sports Psychology Team to provide this crucial service. Our student-athletes work hard on the field and off, and I am glad we can offer this support to help them succeed in every endeavor."
