HIGH SCHOOL: Swam for head coach Dan Peterkoski at Upper Arlington High School…four-year letterwinner in swimming and three-year participant and letterwinner in water polo…set a pool record in the 400-yard freestyle relay and a pool and state record in the 200-yard freestyle relay…won three water polo state championships and one swimming state championship…named an all-American in the 200-yard freestyle relay and the 100-yard freestyle relay in 2012 and 2013.
PERSONAL: Born Dec. 30, 1996 in Upper Arlington, Ohio…daughter of Doug and Carol Van Fossen…her sister, Kate, swam for Miami from 2010-2014…named to the honor roll…majoring in psychology.
