Greg Manos enters his first season with Miami Volleyball, joining the program as an assistant coach in June 2022. Manos spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach at Radford after a four-year stint at Chicago State.

"What made Greg's resume stand out was his significant experience and work performed at other universities with fine head coaches,” said Condit. “He has proven success as a former setter and in teaching different position players in a variety of areas. He is well versed in scouting reports, recruiting, game strategies, VolleyMetrics and has the experience I was looking for. The interview time shared with Greg helped lock in my decision as it became quite evident that he is a motivated coach and professional who possesses a strong work ethic and positive approach to teaching and winning."

“Coach Condit is a proven and outstanding mentor for her players, staff and fellow Miami administrators,” said Manos. “During the interview process it was apparent that she consistently surrounded herself with positive influences who genuinely wanted to pave the road for team success across multiple avenues. I can't wait to join the RedHawk family and relocate back to the Midwest!”

While with the Highlanders, Manos was involved with all facets of the program and was key in aiding the rebuilding process of the program. His recruiting efforts helped secure commitments from nearly 20 prospects over a two-year stretch.

Manos previously served as an associate head coach and an assistant coach at Chicago State University. He aided the Cougars in achievements both on and off the court. Academically, the team's Academic Progress Rate grew from 850 to 1,000 in a three-year span. Manos helped the team to a spot on the American Volleyball Coaches Association Team Academic Honor Roll in consecutive seasons, while upholding a team GPA of 3.7.

On the court, the Cougars improved their RPI for three-consecutive seasons, won more Division I matches in four seasons than the program totaled in the previous 11 seasons combined and defeated Rutgers in three-set triumph in 2018 to mark the first BIG 10 victory in program history. Additionally, the team posted the longest win streak in program history. The Cougars also notched their best non-conference and WAC records in the program’s Division I history. Manos mentored two-time conference Libero of the Year Megan Klavitter, and All-Freshman Team selection Josi Borum.

Prior to Chicago State, Manos was a senior search engine marketing specialist at Leapfrog Online and Publicis Groupe. His additional coaching experience includes various summer camps at Marquette University, Butler University, Chicago State University and Radford University. Manos also has coached several club and high school teams between 2010 and 2020: 1st Alliance/Lions Juniors Volleyball Club, Energy Volleyball Club, Hoosierland (Munciana) Volleyball Club and Evanston Township High School.

Manos graduated from Indiana University with a bachelor of science in business in 2013. While at Indiana, Manos helped lead his team to a 2011 National Collegiate Volleyball Federation finals appearance.
