2013-14 - Outdoor: Threw in five meets ... qualified for the NCAA East Region Preliminary in the javelin, where he took 35th with a throw of 198-5 ... scored with a sixth-place finish in the javelin (198-8) at the MAC Outdoor Championships ... opened the outdoor season with a career-best 211-9 at the Wake Forest Open, where he took eighth in the javelin.
2012-13 - Outdoor: Competed at two meets in the javelin throw ... threw a personal best 211 feet 9 inches at the Wake Forrest open ... won the Miami invitational with a throw of 193 feet 8 inches.
2011-2012: Competed in two meets during the 2012 outdoor campaign, throwing the javelin both times ... recored a personal best throw of 62.60m (205-4) at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational, where he placed second ... that throw notched him the fourth spot on the Miami Track & Field All-Time Top 10 Javelin list ... won the Miami Invitational with a heave of 61.60m.
High School: Earned two varsity letters in track and field at Don Bosco Preparatory under coaches Robert DeCarlo and Robert Murphy ... helped lead his team to a state championship two years in a row ... set a school record of 196-10 in the javelin ... took first in the Empire State Games in the javelin and placed sixth in the New Balance Nationals ... also played football and wrestled ... earned two varsity letters in football and one in wrestling, helping the football team win the state title twice as well while playing center.
