SCOUTING REPORT: Will be sidelined in 2011 due to knee surgery he underwent after a spring injury.

2011: Did not play.

2010: In 13 games, he totaled two catches for nine years ... earned his second varsity letter.

2009: Earned a varsity letter as a true freshman, playing the last eight games of the season ... caught six balls for 72 yards in 2009 ... he had three catches for 38 yards in Miami's victory over Toledo ... recorded a 24-yard touchdown catch at Temple.

HIGH SCHOOL: Was a first-team all-state selection his senior year for a 9-3 club ... earned three letters in football, playing tight end and linebacker ... was league's javelin champ in track, winning three letters ... also lettered in baseball ... prep football coach was Galen Snyder.

PERSONAL: Born November 25, 1990 ... son of Charlie and Sue Marck ... RedHawk teammate is his older brother, C.J. ... mom and dad were athletes at Lehigh and a sister (Lindsey) was an ACC champion swimmer at North Carolina ... grandfather and great-grandfather both played for the Chicago Bears ... ... a 3.0+ student at Miami, he majors in interdisciplinary business management ...
