All-MAC Academic Team ... MAC Runner of the Week (Sept. 12) ... competed in six of Miami[apos]s seven races ... was named the MAC Runner of the Week for the first time in her career after winning the Miami Invitational with a first-place time of 18:54 ... finished in the RedHawks[apos] scoring five at Miami[apos]s first four races ... ran season-best 5K time of 18:53 at the season-opening Dayton Flyer Invitational (Sept. 2) ... finished eighth on the team and 75th overall at the MAC meet (22:50).
Track and Field -- Did not compete in the indoor and outdoor seasons.
2005-06: Cross Country -- Competed in all eight of Miami[apos]s races ... was the top Miami finisher at the Dayton Flyer 5K Challenge with a second-place time of 19:04 (Sept. 3) ... placed as the second Miami finisher in five of the season[apos]s final seven races ... finished in the top 10 overall in each of the season[apos]s first three races ... top 5K time of the season (18:26) came at the Cedarville Invitational (Sept. 17) where she helped Miami win the team title ... also ran sub-19 minute 5K times at the Notre Dame Invitational (18:37; Sept. 30) and the MAC Championships (18:42; Oct. 29) ... top 6K time of the season (22:30) came at the Pre-NCAA meet (Oct. 15).
Track and Field --
All-MAC Academic Team Indoors and Outdoors ... indoors, won the 1,600 meters at the Bowling Green Invitational ... added victories in the mile run at the Eastern Illinois Invitational and the 800 meters at the Cedarville Open ... at the MAC Indoor Championships, scored with an eighth-place finish in the mile run ... ran top time in the 800 meters (2:19.99) at the Eastern Illinois Invitational and top mile time (4:55.00) at the Kentucky Invitational ... outdoors, placed first in the 1,500 meters at the Charlotte Invitational and the Miami Invitational ... also was the top finisher in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the National City Invitational ... scored at the outdoor conference meet with a fifth-place finish in the 1,500 meters ... also finished 12th in the 800-meter preliminaries ... clocked in with career-best times in the 1,500 meters (4:29.95) at the Billy Hayes Invitational and the 3,000-meter steeplechase (11:06.05) at the National City Invitational.
2004-05: Cross Country -- Ran in all seven meets ... team finish ranged from third to seventh ... top 5K time of 18:55 came at the Cedarville Invite ... at the MAC Championship, finished fifth on the team and 43rd overall in 19:28 ... at the 6K NCAA Great Lakes Regional, was third on the team and 88th overall in 22:11.9.
Indoor Track and Field -- Ran the 800 in six meets with a top time of 2:17.36 coming in a fifth-place finish at the All-Ohio Championships ... won the event at Eastern Illinois in 2:20.81.
Outdoor Track and Field -- Competed in the 800, 1500 and steeplechase outdoors over all eight of Miami[apos]s meets ... won the steeple in 11:40.69 at Indiana ... finished 13th in the event at the MAC Championships in 11:40.18 ... top 800 time outdoors was at the Kent State season-opening meet, finishing second in 2:17.96 ... top 1500 time came at the All-Ohio Championships, taking ninth in 4:43.80.
High School: Participated in cross country as well as the 800 meters at Bucyrus High School in Bucyrus, Ohio ... finished sixth in the state Division II cross country race before winning the 800 meter race ... the 800 win improved on a runner-up finish in the race as a junior as well as a 12th-place cross country finish that year ... as a sophomore, finished fourth in the 800 meters at states.
