High School: Attending Miami on an academic scholarship ... participated in the high jump and sprint relays at Midpark High School in Middleburg Heights, Ohio ... state high jump champion at 5-8 as a senior ... earned third place in the high jump at the Division I Ohio meet as a freshman with a height of 5-4 and improved the height to 5-6 despite finishing sixth in 2002 ... took the silver as a junior, leaping 5-8.
