2011-12: Cross Country -- Ran in five of seven races with his first collegiate race Sept. 3 at the Dayton 5K Challenge, where he placed 61st and was Miami's seventh finisher in 16:49.7 ... posted a career-best 8K time of 26:48.5 at the MAC Championship, earning 68th overall as Miami's sixth finisher ... was Miami's sixth finisher at the Miami Open and LSU Invitational as well, recording a career-best finish of 21st at the Miami Open (27:20) while taking 23rd at the LSU Invite (29:03.3). High School: Earned four varsity letters in both track and cross country under head coach Jim Windnagle at Maumee High School ... served as team captain for both teams for three years ... recorded a personal-best 5K time of 15:50, 3200m time of 9:31, 1600m time of 4:27 and 800m time of 2:00 ... helped his cross country team to a district runner-up finish in 2010 by winning the district championship ... was the 2010 runner-up at his conference's cross country championship and placed 29th at the Ohio state meet ... competed in the Nike Cross Nationals in Wisconsin in 2010 ... member of the National Honor Society.
