Carson Named MAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week

CLEVELAND--Â Miami Soccer's Coltie Carson was named MAC Co-Defensive Player of the Week, the conference announced this afternoon. The freshman from Westfield, Ind. scored a second-half brace against LSU Sunday night, netting the first two goals of her collegiate career. She played in all 180 minutes for Miami over the week, including a victory at Eastern Kentucky to snap the Colonels' nearly-two-year home unbeaten streak.
The RedHawks are back in action Friday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. for a home match against Western Carolina.
