
Blair Joins Creative Services and Fan Engagement Team

OXFORD, Ohio – Bethany Blair will join the Miami Athletics Creative Services and Fan Engagement team, Miami's Assistant AD for Creative Services and Fan Engagement Angie Renninger announced today. Blair will serve as Associate Director of Creative Services.
"I am ecstatic to be joining the Miami RedHawks Creative Services and Fan Engagement team. Oxford is truly one-of-a-kind, and I am excited to help build upon the rich history and create connections within the university to showcase that this is the place you want to be," Blair said. "This position is truly a dream, and I could not be more thankful to the people who have helped shape me into the creative I am today. Thank you to Angie Renninger and the rest of the department for entrusting me with this position."
Blair joins Miami after most recently serving as Content Creation Manager for the Lexington Legends from 2024 to 2025. In this role, she led content strategy and execution across social media, produced in-game and promotional content that reached up to 6,000+ views and an 11% engagement rate, oversaw website management and SEO optimization, designed and delivered partnership pitch decks and proof-of-performance reports in collaboration with the General Manager and VP of Business Development and created branded graphics and visual content using Adobe Creative Suite to support marketing campaigns and in-venue needs.
From spring to fall 2024, she served as the Marketing Manager for the Kentucky Trucking Association. Blair established a social media presence and increased digital awareness, connected with industry professionals, helped organize and efficiently run multiple events run by the association and analyzed key audiences and created social and digital marketing calendars to spread awareness of the organization.
Starting in 2023, Blair took on the role of Team Lead with Joseph Beth Booksellers, a role she has held for the past three years. Her day-to-day tasks included overseeing the daily operations of the team during their assigned shift, ensuring that all tasks were completed efficiently and effectively, monitoring team members to ensure that they are meeting performance expectations, providing coaching and feedback to team members, handling customer complaints and issues, helping guests with personalized recommendations to help them grow as a reader and reviewing advanced reader copies and stayed knowledgeable on upcoming releases.
From 2020 to 2023, she worked as a Sports Information Student Assistant for her alma mater Georgetown College. Her time with the Tigers consisted of overseeing social media and aligning posts to include branding and trending ideas, developing and promoting corporate brand, images and identity to media and the public, collaborating with other departments to develop integrated branding and public relations strategies and delivering authoritative sports coverage with careful attention to game facts, stats and predictions. Blair was inducted into the Georgetown Athletic Hall of Fame for her work.
While in college, she also spent time as a Disney College Program Participant, where she delivered world-class guest service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while upholding Disney's brand standards and storytelling excellence.

"Her past experiences creating, executing and overseeing content strategy across various social media platforms within fast-paced environments made a strong impression. And her experience and versatility with a variety of areas within athletic organizations is definitely a huge asset. We are eager to see the impact she can make on Miami Athletics."
Blair earned her undergraduate degree in Creative Marketing and Advertising from Georgetown College in 2023.
