RedHawks Open Conference Play at BGSU

THIS WEEK: Miami begins this week's action on the road, as the RedHawks open Mid-American Conference play by traveling to Bowling Green for a pair of matches on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 6 p.m and Friday, Sept. 25 at 6 p.m.Â
ABOUT BOWLING GREEN: In the 2025 season, Bowling Green went 17-15 and 10-8 in the MAC. The Falcons are currently 8-3 after defeating Dayton 3-1 and dropping to Missouri 3-1 this past weekend at the BGSU/Toledo Invitational. Bowling Green was selected in a tie for fourth overall with Ohio in the MAC Preseason Poll. Avery Hobson, a First Team All-MAC selection in 2025, was named to the 2026 Preseason All-MAC Team at the start of the season.Â
The Red and White are 54-43 when facing off with the Falcons. Last season, Miami won both matches against Bowling Green in Millett Hall, as the RedHawks secured a 3-2 victory on Friday, Oct. 31 and a 3-0 win on Saturday, Nov. 1.
TELEVISION: Each match versus Bowling Green will be available to watch on ESPN+.
UP NEXT: The Red and White continue conference play by returning home to play Buffalo Oct. 1-2. The first match will be played on Thursday, Oct. 1 at 6:30 p.m., and then the next match will take place on Friday, Oct. 2 at 6:30 p.m.
STRONG START: The RedHawks have reached 8-3 on the season (best start to a season since 2013) after winning seven of their last nine matches. Prior to last weekend's action, the Red and White went on a seven match win streak, the longest since Miami recorded nine consecutive wins in the 2019 season.Â
SERVING SPECIALISTS: This season, the RedHawks have already produced 76 service aces, averaging 2.00 service aces per set and out-serving opponents 76-35.
