New Clear Bag Policy for Miami Athletics Events
Starting with the 2026-2027 athletic season, Miami University Athletics has adopted a clear bag policy to enhance spectator safety and expedite entry into Miami Athletics facilities.
Clear Bag Policy

Clear tote bags that do not exceed 12" W X 6" D X 12" H
Clutch bags, with or without shoulder straps, no larger than 4.5" X 6.5"
Diaper bags
Bags required for medical reasons

Additional Information

A logo may be displayed on one side of the bag
Only one clear bag is permitted per ticket
Common items such as keys, wallets, phones, and feminine products may be carried in pockets
All bags are subject to search

Bearkat Invitational (Huntsville, Texas)
Miami opens the 2026-27 season at the Bearkat Invitational, facing McNeese and tournament host Sam Houston on Friday before facing Cal State Fullerton on Saturday. Miami opens the season at home Sept. 4-5, hosting the Best Western Invitational. Season and single-game tickets are on sale at MiamiRedHawks.com/Tickets. For group tickets, please call (513) 529-4295. The MAC preseason poll was released, and sophomore outside hitter Molly Creech was a preseason All-MAC selection.

Miami Soccer split a pair of home games last week, downing Morehead State 2-1 on Thursday before being edged by Butler, 1-0 on Sunday. The RedHawks head to Middle Tennessee for a Thursday match before returning home to host Youngstown State at 7 p.m. on Sunday.

Miami Golf gets its season underway hosting the Virtues Intercollegiate in Nashport, Ohio, Saturday and Sunday.

Miami Field Hockey opens its 2026 campaign in Louisville, Ky., facing the Cardinals on Friday and Indiana in a neutral-site game on Saturday.
