
RedHawks to Compete in Cancun Challenge

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Tournament officials with the Cancun Challenge college basketball event have announced that Miami women's basketball will be participating in the 2026 Tournament during Thanksgiving Week.
Powered by Triple Crown Sports, the 2026 event marks the 21st edition of the women's tournament. Players and fans will once again be just steps from their rooms to the converted ballroom that hosts the competition at the all-inclusive Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.
The women's event runs Nov. 26-28. Miami is joined by Kansas, Minnesota and Washington State in the tournament field, with two teams yet to be named. Each team will play a pair of contests in Mexico.
