Baseball Claims Second-Straight MAC Regular-Season Title
RedHawks No. 1 Seed in Upcoming MAC Tournament
Sweeping Akron to close out the regular-season, Miami Baseball claimed their second-straight Mid-American Conference regular-season title! With Saturday's 15-8 win against the Zips, Head Coach Brian Smiley notched his 100th career win as the RedHawks moved to 38-15 (25-8 MAC). Miami is the No. 1 seed in the upcoming MAC Tournament in Avon, Ohio. The RedHawks earned a first-round bye and will play at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 21. Tickets are available now through the Lake Erie Crushers box office, and there are premium ticket opportunities available by calling their box office at (440) 934-8233.

Track & Field Boasts Five Individual MAC Champions
Amidst an array of strong performances for the RedHawks at the MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Muncie, Ind. last week, five individuals won individual titles: Mia Boule (pole vault), breaking her own school record; Petros Sanchez Ropero (3K steeplechase); Kate Hallie (discus), Nate Hollingsworth (high jump) and Dominic Jackson (800m). The Miami men's team finished fourth, while the women's team placed sixth. Qualifying RedHawks will represent Miami at the NCAA East First Round in Lexington, Ky., beginning May 27.

Steele to Receive Award From Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame
The Ohio Basketball Hall of Fame announced that Miami University Head Coach Travis Steele will be honored with the "A Season to Remember Award" at the upcoming enshrinement ceremony on Saturday, June 6, 2026.Â
