Harper to Miss Hall of Fame Ceremony Due to NBA Commitment

Due to an unexpected professional commitment requiring international travel, Ron Harper will be unable to attend Miami Athletics' Hall of Fame Ceremony on Friday, Sept. 25.
Harper will remain a member of the 2026 Miami Athletics Hall of Fame class. Miami Athletics looks forward to welcoming Ron back to Oxford and celebrating his Hall of Fame induction in person as part of a future Hall of Fame ceremony.
Miami Athletics will celebrate fellow 2026 inductees: Stephanie Danesis (tennis), Bea Dechant (field hockey), Patrick Flavin (golf), Mary Haskell O'Leary (administration), Andy Miele (ice hockey), Kelsey Vehr (women's swimming) and the 2006-07 synchronized skating team on Sept. 25.
Miami Athletics appreciates the understanding of those planning to attend and looks forward to celebrating this outstanding Hall of Fame class.
