Miami Takes a 6-1 Victory Over Dayton

DAYTON, Ohio – The Miami University tennis team earned a strong 6-1 win over the University of Dayton this Friday afternoon. The RedHawks secured the doubles point early and carried that momentum through singles play to finish the match.
Miami picked up wins on courts one and three in doubles. In singles, Miami won five matches to seal the team victory. Maria Luisa Oliveira set the tone with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 performance. Allie Faulkner battled through a tight match, earning a 7-6, 6-2 win.
Nina Chavez Vicente delivered one of the strongest performances of the day, coming back to win 6-7, 6-3, 1-0 (15-13) in a long third-set tiebreak.
