RedHawks Earn Another Strong Win at Home

OXFORD, Ohio – Miami University women's tennis captured a win over Eastern Michigan on Sunday afternoon with a 6-1 final score. The RedHawks secured the doubles point early and carried that momentum through singles play to finish the match.
In singles, Miami won five matches to seal the team victory. Maria Luisa Oliveira battled through a three-set match, winning 6-3, 5-7, 6-4. Allie Faulkner delivered a strong performance with a 6-4, 6-2 win. Evelyn Risner responded after dropping the first set to win 3-6, 6-0, 6-4. Nina Chavez Vicente added a straight-sets victory, 6-4, 6-0. Maria Komar closed out the scoring for Miami with a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 win.
