Deputy Recognized on NCHC All-Rookie Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— The National Collegiate Hockey Conference unveiled its annual All-Rookie Team today, and Miami freshman winger David Deputy was one of three forwards selected.
Deputy produced 15 goals and seven assists for Miami in 31 games played this season. He is the first RedHawk to produce 15 goals in a season since 2017-18. Deputy ranked fourth in the NCHC in goals per conference game (0.54) and netted two shorthanded goals. He tallied three game-winning goals, including two in overtime. Deputy was named NCHC Rookie of the Week four times this season and was the conference's Rookie of the Month in January. He is the first Miami player to be named to the NCHC All-Rookie Team since the 2020-21 season.
