Men's Swim/Dive Remains in Second After Day Three of MVC Championships

EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Miami University men's swimming and diving team continued the 2026 Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Championship and remain in second with a total of 1067.5 points. Missouri State is first (1086 points), Southern Illinois is third (890.5 points), Ball State is fourth (670.5 points), UMass is tied for fifth (633.5 points), University of Illinois Chicago is tied for fifth (633.5 points), Evansville is seventh (300 points) and Valparaiso is eighth (290 points) after day three at Deaconess Aquatic Center.

How it Happened:

The RedHawks opened day three with the 200 fly, as Allen Cotton secured first (1:44.23), Owen Hoban (1:44.63) claimed third and Luke Pugh finished eighth (1:48.48) to lead Miami.
In the 100 breast, Pablo Silva and Brady Miller tied each other for seventh after recording a team-best time of 53.86.
Jensen Nelson managed a first-place performance in the 100 back after producing a time of 46.71.
Noam Kulbak led all Miami divers after taking fifth in the 3m dive, as he recorded 314.25 points.
Bryce Menchhofer, Ian Rodrigues-Kmiliauskis, Cotton and Hoban concluded the day in third in the 800 free relay (6:26.95).

UP NEXT: The RedHawks men's swimming and diving team will return to Deaconess Aquatic Center for day four of the MVC Championship. The preliminaries start at 11:30 a.m. and the finals begin at 6:30 p.m.
