Two RedHawk Golfers Claim Top-10 Finish at The Indy at Forest Hills

Final Results

RICHMOND, Ind. — Four golfers from Miami University competed in The Indy at Forest Hills. Nathan Vonderhaar finished as the highest RedHawk on the leaderboard, tying for third place.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

Vonderhaar (70-71=141) shot one-over-par through his two rounds. He finished round one at even par after logging three birdies, and shot a score of 71 in round two with three additional birdies. Vonderhaar finished the tournament tied for third place overall.
Max Halflants (69-73=142) shot one-under-par in his first round and three-over-par in his second round. He finished the tournament with a total six birdies through his two rounds and tied for sixth.
Michael Stagnaro (74-74=148) shot eight-over-par through his two rounds, shooting a score of 74 in both. He logged three total birdies and finished the tournament tied for 18th.
Dean Upholzer (80-70=150) shot ten-over-par in his first round today and then shaved ten strokes off in his second round, shooting an even-par 70 with three birdies. He climbed eleven spots on the leaderboard after round one to finish tied for 24th place.
