For their performances last week, Ilse de Vries and Paul Hong are Miami's Athletes of the Week, presented by Skyline Chili for the week of Jan. 26.

Female Winner:Â Ilse de Vries
Ilse de Vries averaged 20.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks over the past week, helping the RedHawks to wins over Buffalo and Ball State. She shot 48.6% from the floor and was 6-of-16 (37.5%) from long distance as the RedHawks improved to a perfect 8-0 in MAC play. De Vries opened the week with 17 points, six rebounds and five blocks in a 76-52 win at home versus Buffalo. On Saturday, she had a career-high 23 points, seven rebounds and two blocks in a 72-52 win at Ball State. Versus the Cardinals she knocked down a career-best five three pointers. A sophomore forward from Groningen, Netherlands, she is studying Sales Management in the the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Science.

Male Winner: Paul Hong
Paul Hong led all divers at a home meet versus Kenyon, as he finished first in both the 1M and 3M dives. Hong earned a score of 372.08 in the 1M dive and 344.33 in the 3M dive. A freshman diver from Flower Mound, Texas, he is studying Data Analytics in the College of Arts and Science.
