
Two RedHawks Earn Top-Five Finishes in Indy at Forest Hills

RICHMOND, Ind. — The RedHawks hosted the Indy at Forest Hills today, with five Miami golfers competing as individuals.

The RedHawks will host the Virtues Intercollegiate in Nashport, Ohio for individuals from Sept 29-30.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Nathan Vonderhaar (69-68=137) tied for second, shooting four birdies in the first round and five in the second. He ended the day three below par.
- Cameron Pero (71-67=138) finished tied for fifth place at two below par. He shot an eagle on the 16th hole of the second round, immediately after shooting three consecutive birdies.
- Michael Weber (72-70=142) shot two above par, tied for 17th place. He shot four birdies throughout the tournament.
- Joseph Canitano (70-75=145) tied for 21st, shooting seven birdies. He ended the 18th hole of the second round with a birdie.
- Dean Upholzer (78-74=152) shot 12 above par with two birdies, coming in 33rd place.
