Miami Football returns to Yager Stadium this Saturday at 3:30 p.m., hosting Lindenwood for Homecoming presented by CJM Construction and The Knolls!
TICKETS It is also Mascot Day with several local mascots joining Swoop to greet fans at the stadium and make a special on-field appearance during the game. The RedHawks were edged by UNLV last Saturday.

Uptown Madness Set For Friday of Homecoming Weekend
Harper Degree Celebration Rescheduled
Miami Basketball will take over uptown Oxford as part of Homecoming weekend. The men's and women's teams will hold an Uptown Madness presented by Level 27 event on Friday, Sept. 26 at 10:30 p.m. The event will be held on a blocked-off North Main Street between Martin Luther King Jr. Park and Oxford Memorial Park in the center of town and is open to all fans.
Miami University will honor basketball legend Ron Harper with the presentation of an honorary degree during the upcoming season. This celebration, which was originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27 in Oxford, has been postponed due to Harper's overseas responsibilities on behalf of the National Basketball Association this month. The new date will be announced soon.

Miami Volleyball opens MAC play as the RedHawks head to Akron Thursday and Buffalo Friday.  They split a home-and-home series with Northern Kentucky over the weekend, capturing a five-set win on Saturday. The RedHawks return home to host Western Michigan on Thursday, Oct. 2 and Northern Illinois on Friday, Oct. 3.

Miami Cross Country swept the John McNichols Invite. Marisa Heil won the event for the women with Ava Nuttall coming in second. Chris Perkins finished in second for the men with Luke Mussard coming in fifth.
Miami Field Hockey tied a single-game scoring record in an 11-0 win against Bellarmine and picked up a 3-1 win against Michigan State last week. Miami heads to Kent State Friday before hosting Massachusetts at 1 p.m. Sunday. Â
Miami Soccer dropped a pair of MAC matches this week. The RedHawks host Eastern Michigan Thursday at 7 p.m. and play at Akron on Sunday.
Fans attending Thursday's game should note that many streets around Yager Stadium will be closed due to the Homecoming parade which begins at 6 p.m. that evening, including Bonham Rd. The best way to access the 9/25 Miami Soccer match will be via Shadowy Hills Dr., or fans coming to Oxford from the north can use Gate 3 off of State Route 732.
Miami Golf placed eighth at the Canadian Collegiate Invitational last week. The RedHawks host individuals in The Indy at Forest Hills Friday.
Miami Tennis collected 11 victories in a successful weekend at the Pam Whitehead Invitational. Miami competes at the Milwaukee Classic this weekend.
