COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.—This afternoon, the NCHC announced the freshmen and first-year transfers that have been added to the 2024-25 Academic All-Conference Team now that those student-athletes have finished an entire academic year at their institution. Miami University had eight more players named to the Academic All-Conference list today with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher: Ethan Dahlmeir, John Emmons, Christophe Fillion, Teodor Forssander, David Grosek, Brett Miller, Casper Nassen and Michael Quinn. Seven of those were honored as Distinguished Scholar-Athletes for producing a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or better: Dahlmeir, Emmons, Fillion, Forssander, Miller, Nassen and Quinn.
These RedHawks join Miami's previously announced honorees (released in February) to give the Red and White a total of 24 NCHC Academic All-Conference selections and 16 Distinguished Scholar-Athletes for the 2024-25 season. Both totals are program records for Miami in the NCHC.
