
Three Miami Golfers Recognized as Academic All-MAC

CLEVELAND— The Mid-American Conference announced the 2024-25 men's golf Academic All-MAC team today, and three Miami University golfers were recognized: Morgan Blythe, Matthew Mattioli, and Cameron Pero.
Blythe, a sophomore from Newcastle, England, is an Interior Design major in the College of Creative Arts. Mattioli, a senior from Cheswick, Pa., and Pero, a junior from Bloomfield, Ontario, are both Finance majors in the Farmer School of Business.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport. First-year students and any transfer in their first year of residence are not eligible for the award.
