Meet the 2025-26 Miami Hockey Team: Kyle Aucoin

OXFORD, Ohio— With the Miami Hockey season set to begin on Friday, Oct. 3 against Ferris State at Steve "Coach" Cady Arena, second-year head coach Anthony Noreen's program will have quite a few new faces in 2025-26.
Kyle Aucoin, a defenseman from Hinsdale, Ill., will join the RedHawks this year. He played the previous four seasons at Harvard University.

- Played 90 games for Harvard over four years, producing nine points (2-7-9)
- Drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in sixth round of the 2020 NHL Draft (No. 156 overall)
- Finished his time in USHL with Muskegon after spending parts of three seasons playing for Noreen at Tri-City
- Put up 26 points (5-21-26) in 102 total USHL appearances
- Recognized as USHL Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2019-20 season
