
Miami Hockey Announces 2025-26 Season Schedule

OXFORD, Ohio— Miami Hockey announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season today. The RedHawks will play 34 regular-season games, highlighted by two holiday tournaments – the Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland and the Great Lakes Invitational in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Miami will have 14 home games this season, beginning with the opening series against Ferris State, and will battle six conference opponents in Steve "Coach" Cady Arena: Arizona State, Colorado College, Minnesota Duluth, Omaha, St. Cloud State and defending national champion Western Michigan.
The RedHawks welcome Ferris State to Oxford on October 3-4, followed by weekend trips to RPI (Oct. 10-11) and Lindenwood (Oct. 24-25). NCHC play begins with a home series against Arizona State (Oct. 31-Nov. 1).
The Red and White travel to Western Michigan in November (Nov. 14-15) before returning home to face St. Cloud State (Nov. 21-22). The RedHawks will play two games at the Friendship Four in Belfast Nov. 28-29, with RIT, Sacred Heart and Union rounding out the four-team field.
In December, Miami visits Denver (Dec. 5-6) and hosts Colorado College (Dec. 12-13) before stepping back into non-conference play for the Great Lakes Invitational at Van Andel Arena. The GLI is set for Dec. 29-30 with a field that also includes Ferris State, Michigan State and Michigan Tech.
The 2026 portion of the schedule begins with Miami's first-ever visit to Arizona State (Jan. 9-10) and continues with a home series against Omaha (Jan. 16-17). After a bye, Miami will play five straight weekends to close the regular season, alternating road and home series in matchups against St. Cloud State (Jan. 30-31 in St. Cloud), Western Michigan (Feb. 6-7 in Oxford), North Dakota (Feb. 13-14 in Grand Forks), Minnesota Duluth (Feb. 20-21 in Oxford) and Omaha (Feb. 27-28 in Omaha).
The NCHC quarterfinals begin March 6 with the top eight finishers battling in best-of-three series hosted by the conference's top four seeds.
