WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.— The RedHawks are in 10th place of 18 programs following the first day of the Boilermaker Invitational with a score of 567 (one under par). Morgan Blythe is tied for 14th on the leaderboard to lead Miami.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Blythe (68-71=139) opened the first two holes with birdies, going on to total six throughout the two rounds. He ended the day with a score of three below par.
- Matthew Mattioli (68-73=141) is tied for 20th, shooting one under par. He shot three consecutive birdies starting on the 10th hole of the first round. He totaled eight throughout the day.
- Cameron Pero (71-71=142) sits at even par, totaling six birdies.
- Michael Weber (73-72=145) shot three above par, tying for 52nd. He shot three consecutive birdies on the back nine of the second round, ending with six for the day.
- Brett Podobinski (75-75=150) finished the day eight above par, tied for 75th.
